West Lincoln High School softball player Madison Ferguson had an inning in a recent game that she will long remember.
Ferguson hit two grand slams in the same frame last Friday in a game against West Caldwell to earn a spot in the North Carolina High School Record Book.
Her two grand slams in an inning and eight runs batted in for a single inning tied existing NCHSAA marks. Ferguson’s is the fourth reported performance of both of those milestones.
West Lincoln rolled past West Caldwell 19-3 in the contest.
