2021-2022 WEEK 17 | Performance of the Week, Powered by OrthoCarolina

CHAPEL HILL— Tori Ensley from Franklin High School and Jahmier Slade from Dudley High School have been named recipients of the NCHSAA Performance of the Week award, Powered by OrthoCarolina. Each week two athletes in North Carolina High School Athletic Association competition are selected for this award from nominations received from coaches, media, and school administrators. 

Ensley a Junior on the Panthers women’s basketball team posted a triple-double last week vs Swain County. Scoring 31 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and 10 steals to give Franklin a 65-52 win.

Jahmier Slade, a senior at Dudley High school, had an outstanding 3A State Championship performance vs J.H. Rose. Slade was named MVP after scoring a total of 5 touchdowns, throwing for 115 passing yards, and rushing for 98 in Dudley’s 69-40 win!
