On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Charlotte Providence made it two consecutive North Carolina High School Athletic Association state women’s 4-A cross country championships and Asheville T.C. Roberson swept a pair of 3-A state crowns, both men and women, in action at Tanglewood Park near Winston-Salem.
