Wakefield Receiver Earns Performance Listing

RALEIGH— Jordan Fielleteau of Wakefield High School in Raleigh has earned a performance listing in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association football Record Book.

Fielleteau hauled in 17 passes last Friday night as Wakefield downed Wake Forest-Rolesville 33-19. He is the third player in state history to be listed with 17 receptions in a single game.

Wakefield quarterback Connor Mitch completed 30 of 38 passes in the game for 311 yards and three touchdowns, with Fielleteau catching one of the scoring passes. His receptions were good for a total of 182 yards.

The documented record for receptions in a game is 25 by DeAngelo Ruffin of South Johnston against Harnettt Central on October 22, 2004.
