CHARLOTTE AREA FOOTBALL GAMES WILL BE MOVED
CHARLOTTE— The Charlotte Observer has reported that three different Charlotte-Mecklenburg high schools will have to move a total of nine home football games during the 2012 season.
The moves are necessitated because of repairs being made to high school stadiums on various campuses.
West Charlotte will move three games to the stadium at E.E. Waddell and West Mecklenburg will play two at Waddell. Myers Park will move four games to Charlotte’s Memorial Stadium.
Renovations are being on old wooden bleachers at the stadium. Visitors’ bleachers have been removed at West Charlotte, West Mecklenburg and Myers Park and replaced with temporary bleachers. At Myers Park, for instance, that removed 1,500 seats and replaced it with under 400, thus causing the move.
