HENDERSONVILLE— Juan Macias has been named as North Henderson High School’s new men’s soccer coach, according to the Hendersonville Times-News.
Macias, 22, has been as assistant coach at Hendersonville under Freedy Oviedo for the past three years in both men’s and women’s soccer.
Macias, who played at Hendersonville High, takes over for Dylan King, who guided North to a 19-6 men’s soccer record last fall and shared the conference championship. The King family just had a new baby and King elected to give up his coaching duties.
