NEW COACHES IN ROBESON COUNTY POSTS
Two Robeson County high school baseball coaches will be at different posts for the 2012-13 academic year, according to reports in The Robesonian newspaper.
Bryan McDonald will be the new head coach at Purnell Swett and Kelly Chavis will assume the reins of the program at St. Pauls.
McDonald has previously coached at South Robeson and his team got the whole way to the fourth round of the NCHSAA playoffs in May. He has been coaching at the high school level for approximately 20 years and was a pitcher at Campbell and N.C. State during his collegiate playing days.
