MONROE– Union County Public Schools will have a number of new athletic directors serving in its schools for the 2012-13 academic year.

The school system recently named four new athletic directors for its high schools.  Mike Barfield at Cuthbertson High School, Kevin Allran at Marvin Ridge High School, Tim Niedermeier at Monroe High School and Lynn Coble at Parkwood High School.

Doug Jones, athletic director for the Union County schools, reported the information for the NCHSAA.  We welcome these new athletic directors to their respective positions.
