This Day In NCHSAA History

March 21, 1998

On this day in history in the NCHSAA, T.C Robinson’s Shawn Alexander lit up the scoreboard by dropping an NCHSAA men’s championship record 41 points, including making seven of 12 from behind the arc, in a 77-72 loss to Goldsboro in the NCHSAA 3-A state basketball championship. His seven three-pointers and 41 points are NCHSAA Smith Center championship records.
