GREENVILLE — D.H. Conley High School women’s soccer player Morgan Sandy recently had a big game that earned her a spot in a performance listing in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association record book.

         Sandy scored six goals in a game earlier this month against Eastern Wayne, leading her team to a 9-3 decision.

         That puts Sandy on the single-game goal scoring list.  The state record for goals in a game by an individual is 10, and there are now 12 players who have scored six in a contest.
