CHARLOTTE—W.A  Hough High School has announced that Jason Grube has been named the new head men’s basketball coach at the school, according to various media reports including The Charlotte Observer.

         Grube coached East Mecklenburg to the 2008 North Carolina High School Athletic Association state 4-A men’s basketball crown.

         The new Hough coach has won over 200 games during his career and will replace Justin Batts, who stepped down to attend graduate school. The Huskies were 22-6 a year ago.
