Former Northwest Guilford High School head baseball coach Sandy Gann has received a special honor, according to a press release from the school.

Gann was recently inducted into the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

The veteran coach won one North Carolina High School Athletic Association state championship, six conference titles and retired in 1998 with an outstanding career coaching mark. His teams earned 422 victories in Gann’s 32 seasons as a head coach.
