            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Dr. Bill Harrison, superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools and president of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, tendered his resignation as president of the NCHSAA effective in April. He was named the head of the State Board of Education.

            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Sean Stevens of Davie connected for 12 three-point field goals as the War Eagles outscored High Point T.W. Andrews 95-90 in a men’s basketball game.
