            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, senior guard Gary Clark scored 29 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked seven shots to lead Clayton to a 57-55 victory over Knightdale in an important Greater Neuse River 4-A Conference men’s basketball game. Clark, headed to the University of Cincinnati, scored the game-winning bucket with 23 seconds remaining.
