On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Carrboro's men and Raleigh Charter's women took top team honors in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state 1A/2A swimming and diving championships at the Triangle Aquatic Center. Joe Bonk of Raleigh Charter and Caitlin Casazza of Bishop McGuinness were named the meet's Most Outstanding Swimmers.
