PITTSBORO—Brian Harrington will be the new head football coach at Northwood High School, according to a report on HighSchoolOT.com.

       Harrington is a long-time coach at Northwood, having been a part of the Charger program for 19 years and serving as defensive coordinator for the past 14 seasons.

       Harrington will take over for veteran head coach Bill Hall, who has retired from coaching.

       The new head coach is a graduate of Northwood himself and went on to play collegiately at North Carolina A&T.
