HICKORY– A St. Stephens High School student-athlete was killed in a car accident earlier this week, according to the Hickory Daily Record.

     David Saine, age 17 and a junior at the school, was a member of the Indian varsity football team and was killed in an accident on Monday afternoon when his car was hit by a tractor trailer.  A passenger in the car was hospitalized with injuries.
