APEX—Robert Blake has been named as the new head football coach at Apex High School, according to various media reports including HighSChoolOT.com and the Raleigh News and Observer.

         Graham has been an assistant coach at both Broughton and Apex and comes to the new head job after serving as head football coach at Lufkin Road Middle School.

         He is a career and technical education teacher at Apex who has worked in the Wake County system for 14 years and is a graduate of North Carolina A&T. 

         Blake will take over for Joe Kilby, who resigned in May and has taken a position as an assistant coach at Enloe.
