            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, long-time North Carolina High School Athletic Association executive director Charlie Adams was inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame in Maui, Hawaii. Adams is also a member of the NCHSAA Hall of Fame and the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame, among others.
