CLAREMONT—Lee Swanson has been named as the new head men’s basketball coach at Bunker Hill High School in Catawba County, according to various media reports including the Hickory Daily Record.

     Swanson comes to Bunker Hill after six years as head coach at South Caldwell.

     He replaces Matt Wilkinson, who left Bunker Hill after 11 seasons with the Bears to become the new varsity men’s basketball coach at Newton-Conover, from which he graduated.
