CARY– Chad Sichak has been named Panther Creek’s varsity head men’s soccer coach, according to an announcement on the school’s web site.
Coach Sichak will enter his third school year as a social studies teacher and head wrestling coach at Panther Creek. In addition to his wrestling coaching experience, he previously coached soccer for nine years in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Immediately prior to joining Panther Creek’s staff in the summer of 2013, Sichak served as the junior varsity head soccer coach at Cary High for both the men and the women for two school years. He played high school soccer and for a premier select state travel soccer team, along with wrestling in high school.
“When the men’s soccer position became available early this summer, Coach Sichak immediately expressed interest,” said L.J. Hepp, Panther Creek’s athletic director. “We are excited to be able to fill the position with an experienced soccer coach that knows our culture and is connected to our community.”
