SWANNONOA—Charles D. Owen High School has named Tia Vasko as its women’s volleyball coach for the coming season, according to a report in the Asheville Citizen-Times.

       She is a 2011 graduate of Owen who had previously guided the school’s junior varsity program.  She will replace Lauren Owen as the varsity coach.

       The Warlassies posted a 1-19 record a year ago.
