CHARLOTTE—Every year since 1997, the Carolina Panthers have honored high school football coaches through the Coach of the Week program. The Panthers and Toshiba will select a coach for each week of the high school football season. All head coaches in the Carolinas are eligible regardless of their school’s size, league, or division. Coaches are evaluated on such factors as the coach’s impact on his team, school, and community. Previous coach of the week winners may not be nominated. Also, please note that all nominees will be considered but not all will be awarded.
Deadline to submit nominations is Friday, October 6th.
Selected coaches will be honored with an on-field presentation and game ball at the December 17th game versus the Green Bay Packers.
Each Coach of the Week will receive a $1,000 donation from the Panthers, Toshiba and the National Football League for their school’s athletic program.
