April 21, 1999             On this day in history in the NCHSAA, there was no shortage of offense in a high school baseball slugfest between Charles B. Aycock and Greene Central, as they combined for 42 hits and 40 runs. Aycock produced 21 hits and Greene Central collected 20 hits in the 22-18 Aycock victory.
