November 13, 1998 On this day in history in the NCHSAA, South Columbus rolled up 745 rushing yards against Eastern Guilford in a high school football game. It eclipsed the old NCHSAA mark of 731 set in 1963 by South Stanly and ranks in top-five all-time in national high school history.
