CARRBORO— Jon Noyes has been named as the new head coach of the Carrboro High School tennis program, both the men’s and women’s teams, according to the Chapel Hill Newspaper.

Noyes is a teaching pro at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club and will replace Patti Fox, who is moving to another state.

Prior to taking over the Carrboro position, Noyes had been an assistant coach at Chapel Hill High School for eight seasons. He moved to Chapel Hill from New York in 1988.

Carrboro’s men’s team advanced the whole way to the NCHSAA state dual team championship match last spring.
