Cary Names Alumnus As New Head Football Coach

CARY—Cary High School has named an alumnus and a member of its sports hall of fame as its new head football coach, according to various media reports including the Raleigh News and Observer and HighSchoolOT.com.

He worked as the athletic trainer at Cary for 12 years and was the athletic director for nine years before stepping down from that position three years ago. He has been an assistant football coach at Cary for the last three seasons.

The new Cary head football coach is a graduate of UNC-Wilmington and earned his master’s degree from Georgia Southern.
