Click It or Ticket

The NCHSAA is pleased to announce a continued partnership with the “Click It or Ticket” initiative, part of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program (GHSP), as our Official "Click or Ticket" Partner in 2021-2022. The GHSP is a division of the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). It is dedicated to promoting highway safety awareness to reduce the number of traffic crashes and fatalities in the state of North Carolina through the planning and execution of safety programs, including “Click It or Ticket.”

There are various ways that your high school can become involved in this program which will run from January 2021 through June 2022. Learn about the Governor's Highway Safety Program Scholar-Athlete Program here.

Participate in the 2022 Spring Essay Contest. April is National Distracted Driving month. The essay prompt is: 'As a student-athlete, how can you influence your peers to not drive distracted, including the potential impact from driving distracted?' Apply here to enter to win a prize pack!
