Coaching Changes At Terry Sanford, Southern Lee

FAYETTEVILLE — The Fayetteville Observer has reported that Wayne Inman of Terry Sanford High School has been relieved of his football coaching duties.

Inman will remain at Terry Sanford as a physical education teacher.

Inman has served as the head football coach at the school for the last nine seasons, with a 43-63 overall record. His team was 7-5 this year, losing in the first round of the NCHSAA playoffs.

Southern Lee High School will also be looking for a new head football coach, according to the Fayetteville paper. Tom Paris, who has been the head coach at the school for three years, will not continue in that capacity.

Southern Lee posted a 2-9 record for the 2012 season.

Paris will remain at the school as a physical education teacher.
