            On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Alex White used his bat and his arm to rally Greenville D.H. Conley as the Vikings defeated Jamestown Ragsdale 2-0 in the third and final game in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association state 3-A baseball championship series at First Horizon Park in Greensboro. Conley won the series two games to one and White was the Most Valuable Player.
