EAST FLAT ROCK– East Henderson High School has named its new men’s basketball coach, according to the Hendersonville Times-News.

East Henderson has tapped Bruce Gilliam, an alumnus of East and a former head coach of the women’s basketball team there from 2004 through ’07.

Gilliam has previously coached at Flat Rock Middle School and coached seven years at East Henderson before taking the job with the women’s program in ’04. He was an all-conference player during his career with the Eagles.
