Former NCHSAA Champion Makes U.s.olympic Diving Team

FORMER NCHSAA CHAMPION MAKES U.S. OLYMPIC DIVING TEAM
Former North Carolina High School Athletic Association diving champion Nick McCrory has added another major achievement to his list.
McCrory, both the reigning Atlantic Coast Conference champion representing Duke University and the NCAA champion, qualified for the London Olympics in both the men’s individual 10-meter diving and in synchronized diving. He and diving partner David Boudia took a convincing victory in the 10-meter synchronized event in the U.S. Olympic trials in Federal Way, Washington.
During his high school days at East Chapel Hill, McCrory won three NCHSAA state diviing titles, taking the championships from 2006 through ’08.
