Former Page Basketball Assistant Gets T.w. Andrews Post

HIGH POINT — Former Page assistant basketball coach Cleaver Rennie has been named the head men’s basketball coach at T.W. Andrews, according to the Greensboro News and Record.

The new High Point Andrews coach spent four seasons on the staff at Page, including two years as the head coach of the junior varsity program. He also has coached at Aycock Middle School.

He did not coach last year while teaching algebra at Andrews. He was recently named the school’s teacher of the year.

Rennie is a graduate of Morehead High School in Eden and earned his college degree from North Carolina A&T State University after transferring from Livingstone College.

Rennie replaces Brian Seagraves, who moved from T.W. Andrews after one year to become the head coach. Andrews posted a 20-7 mark last season.
