Hunter Huss Names New Baseball Coach

GASTONIA—Tripper Crisson has been named as the new head baseball coach at Hunter Huss High School, according to a report in the Gastonia Gazette.

Crisson graduated from Lincolnton High School in 2008 and then played shortstop at Catawba Valley Community College for two years and then two years at Tusculum.

He was head coach at Chavis Middle School last spring and has also been an assistant coach with the Cherryville American Legion baseball program.

Crisson is teaching physical education at Huss and will take the baseball helm at the school from Scott Clark, who left Huss after one season as head coach. The Huskies were 6-18 a year ago.
