RALEIGH—Ben Daniels has been named as the new head women’s basketball coach at Leesville Road High School, according to a report on HighSchoolOT.com.

      Daniels comes to the Wake County school from another school in the county, as for the past two seasons he has coached at Wake Forest. He has also coached at Bunn, helping guide that program to the NCHSAA Eastern Regional finals in 2013.

       Daniels takes over for Hal Wertich, who is retiring from coaching.
