LOFTIN TO TAKE OVER BASKETBALL REINS AT A.C. REYNOLDS
ASHEVILLE— Clint Loftin has been named as the new men’s head basketball coach at A.C. Reynolds High School, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.
Loftin has coached at East Henderson for the last two years and prior to that was an assistant coach at North Buncombe from 2005 through 2010.
The new Reynolds coach is 37 years old and takes over for Ben Rhodamer, whose team posted a 6-17 mark in his only season at the helm there. Loftin was the Blue team coach in the men’s game this year’s annual Blue-White All-Star basketball all-star classic, featuring top players from Asheville and several surrounding counties.
