LUMBERTON — Jeff McLamb has been named the new head baseball coach at Lumberton High School, according to a report in The Robesonian.

       McLamb is a veteran assistant baseball coach at Lumberton High School and takes over for longtime coach Paul Hodges. Hodges stepped down from the post at the end of last season after 25 seasons at the helm of the Pirates.

       The new head coach is a graduate of Lumberton High School who went on to play baseball at Methodist University.
