NCHSAA Announces New Partnership With Truist

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.  – The North Carolina High School Athletic Association is pleased to announce a new corporate supporter in Truist. The comprehensive partnership will include an integrated marketing presence throughout the year, allowing Truist to engage with and support the students, coaches, families, and devoted fans of NCHSAA member schools.

Within this partnership, Truist will have an on-site presence at State Championships, where they will be distributing spirit cards to fans to support their respective schools. Truist will also be recognized as the sponsor of a new Community Champion award that will honor teams and schools who are making a positive impact in their communities through volunteer activities and acts of kindness. This new program will culminate with Truist sponsoring the annual Commissioner’s Trophy which is awarded to eight schools (statewide) with two from each classification for outstanding service work in the community.

During the spring season, NCHSAA students will have an opportunity to engage in a new Financial Trivia Challenge that will be sponsored by Truist. The Financial Trivia Challenge will be played through a mobile gaming platform which will include a leaderboard for students to compare their scores. Prizes will be awarded to students achieving top scores, and to schools with the highest participation, fostering an atmosphere of educational fun and competition.
