New Page Softball Coach Is Former Nfl Player

GREENSBORO—Page High School will have a new softball coach during the spring of 2014, but his name might ring a bell with football fans.

Ethan Albright, who played for 16 years in the National Football League after a standout career at Grimsley and the University of North Carolina, will serve as the head coach of the Pirates softball team, according to the Greensboro News and Record.

Albright, who was the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Male Athlete of the Year in 1988-89 during his senior year at Grimsley, spent the majority of his professional career with the Washington Redskins but also played for Miami, San Diego and Buffalo.

He coached the Page junior varsity softball team last spring.
