GREENSBORO— The North Carolina Sports Medicine Symposium for Students will be held in Greensboro during the same week as the North Carolina Coaches Association Clinic.
The event is scheduled for July 18-21 at Greensboro College and is sponsored by the NCCA.
The mission of the symposium is to provide a quality, up-to-date educational program to secondary school students, using a variety of teaching and instructional methods. BOC certified and licensed athletic trainers will promote the athletic training profession through education in the prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses.
The symposium also provides an opportunity for students to network and develop skills through interaction with students from other schools, college/university athletic training students and certified athletic trainers.
The fee for the symposium is $280, which covers room, meals and activities. Meals included will be Monday dinner through Thursday breakfast. A late registration fee of $310 will be charged if the registration is not postmarked by July 11. Lodging will be on the Greensboro College campus.
