GREENSBORO— Former Dudley assistant coach Derrick Partee has been named as the new men’s head basketball coach at Greensboro’s Ben Smith High School.

Partee was an assistant coach for 13 seasons under veteran Dudley coach David Price. He will take over the Smith helm for Brian Jones.

The 34-year-old Partee played four years at Dudley under Price and won a member of a state championship team while playling for the Panthers.
