Princeton Names New Head Football Coach

PRINCETON— Princeton High School has named Derrick Minor as its new head football coach, according to various media reports including the Raleigh News and Observer.

Minor is a 1997 graduate of Western Alamance High School who earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a masters in education from Elon.

The 33-year-old Minor comes to Princeton after serving as an assistant coach at Southeast Guilford for the last two years. He has also coached at Southern Alamance and at Graham.

Minor will replace Russell Williamson, who has retired.
