Princeton Running Back Has Record Breaking Night

PRINCETON—Princeton High School running back Johnny Frasier had a great performance last week that has put his name into the North Carolina High School Athletic Association football record book.

Frasier scored eight touchdowns and ran for a two-point conversion in a 62-6 victory over North Duplin to set an individual record for points scored in a single 11-man football game at 50.

Frasier ran for seven scores and caught a 76-yard pass for another touchdown. He carried the ball 20 times for a whopping 410 yards.

The eight total touchdowns and the 410 yards rushing also earned performance listings in the NCHSAA Record Book.

Frasier had one three-yard run for a score, but his shortest besides that was 37 yards and four were more than 50.  Amazingly, his scoring runs were 55, 56, 46, 37, 91, three and 62 yards.

Congratulations to Johnny Frasier and our thanks to Princeton High School for reporting the achievement and providing all of the documentation necessary for inclusion in the book.
