ROBBINSVILLE– Robbinsville High School has named Warren Knott as its new head basketball coach, according to a report in the Asheville Citizen-Times.

     He was promoted from assistant to head coach after serving as the head junior varsity coach.

     He replaces Tommy Johnson, who resigned in April after three seasons. Johnson has since been hired to lead the men’s program at Perquimans in eastern North Carolina, according to the report.
