Southwest Onslow Soccer Coach Steps Down

JACKSONVILLE—Ray Colley has resigned as the head men’s soccer coach at Southwest Onslow High School, according to a report in the Jacksonville Daily News.

The 44-year-old Colley was the head coach at Southwest for a year in which the Stallions posted a 15-5-3 mark and made it to the third round of the NCHSAA playoffs.

Colley noted that he had young children and that his schedule with high school soccer and travel soccer had really limited his family time.  He will continue to teach at Northwoods Park Middle School, which he has done for 12 years.
