Caitlin McMannen joined the NCHSAA staff in May of 2017. She began working in the Officiating Department, serving as the Assistant to the Supervisor of Officials. After her first year, she was named Assistant Director of Officiating and Championships, allowing her to maintain her primary responsibilities and offer assistance to the Sports Department. After completing her second year with the Association, she was moved into the Sports Department and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Sports and Championships. She completed an internship at the Association during the spring of 2017 while earning her Master of Science degree in Sports Administration, with Distinctive Honors, from Liberty University. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Liberty in May of 2015.
Ms. McMannen is a native of Durham who attended Riverside High School and a two-sport student-athlete. She was an All-Conference PAC 6 Four-Year Varsity starter on the women’s basketball team and a starter on its varsity soccer team. During her time at Liberty, she participated year-round in the intramural sports program playing on indoor and outdoor soccer teams, basketball, flag football, and softball teams.
She enjoys hiking, swimming, tennis, going to the beach, and watching any UNC Tar Heel sporting event in her spare time.
