CHAPEL HILL— Logan Lee from Smithfield-Selma High School and Denzel Jacobson from Apex High School have been named recipients of the NCHSAA Performance of the Week awards, powered by Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.
Each week two athletes in North Carolina High School Athletic Association competition are selected for this award from nominations received from media and school administrators.

She also had 6 rebounds and 4 assists as she went 12 of 15 from the free throw line. Lee has stepped up in conference play, averaging 26 points a game in league play while averaging 19 points a game for the whole season.
Jacobson, a junior guard on the Cougars hoops team, helped lead Apex to an 81-59 win over Holly Springs on Friday. Jacobson scored 24 points, hitting eight threes on just eight attempts. His performance helped the Cougars to their highest point total of the year and made him the third student-athlete in NCHSAA history to record a perfect three-point shooting percentage in a game including eight or more attempts.
