HAMPSTEAD— Topsail High School head baseball coach Ryan Morris has resigned his coaching position to take a job outside education.

Topsail was 20-5 last year and won the East Central Conference championship. Morris took over midway during the 2011 season at Topsail.

The school is currently evaluating potential candidates for the position.
