NORWOOD–South Stanly High School head football coach Tasker Fleming has recently announced his retirement from coaching, according to a report in the Stanly News and Press.

         Fleming has been the head football coach at South Stanly for the past three years and has served at various stops for 25 years as a head coach and 30 years total.

         A native of Warrenton, Fleming plans to teach at Central Pageland High School in Chesterfield, South Carolina, but currently has no plans to coach.
