CHARLOTTE—West Charlotte High School head football coach Marcus Surratt has resigned, according to a report in the Charlotte Observer.

Surratt has been the head coach of the Lions for the past four seasons. West Charlotte was 0-11 this year, although as recently as 2010 West posted an 8-5 record.

A search is underway for a new coach.
